The issue[ of ] … the application of the common knowledge exception present[s] us with questions of law which we review de novo, with no presumption of correctness or deference to the decisions of the lower courts. Bryant v. Bryant, 522 S.W.3d 392, 399 (Tenn. 2017) (citing Rye v. Women’s Care Ctr. of Memphis, MPLLC, 477 S.W.3d 235, 250 (Tenn. 2015); Parker v.
